Department of Transportation Proposes Ban on Texting by Commercial Drivers

The U.S. Department of Transportation has proposed a ban against text messaging by commercial truck drivers and bus drivers to prevent accidents involving driver distraction.  Violating drivers could face criminal and civil penalties for violation of the proposed law.  To learn more about the DOT proposal, click here.
